Hungarian folk dances are about to gain ground again due to the fact that in our rushing ways of lives there are only very few scopes of movements which would concern as many age-groups and traditions as them, and would sort dances of old times with respect to styles and regions. These traditions are inherited by generations.

My friends and I shall do our best to carry out this noble plan and to be helpful to those who are interested.

Children are trained the bases of the Hungarian folk dances form their kindergarten years through their school-years, developing their senses of motivation and rhythm. These youths may present at various demonstrations how great a development can be achieved in such short time when there is no lack of enthusiasm and zeal.
We may hopefully be helpful in introducing the next generation to the special taste of Hungarian folk dances, a different culture of movements.

We undertake to make the palette of the dances of another country more colourful by adding to it the wide scale of Hungarian folk dances. Our objective is to develop one's sense of rhythm and body-control, the ability of improvisation more vividly by dance motifs of different styles. In the NAT (Hungary's Central Syllabus of Training) folk dance is a part of the training. We hope to give basis for that in a different culture.

Teaching Folkdance to Children

Hungarian folkdance renewed popularity can be explained by the fact that in our today's busy culture, there are few self expressive movements that can reach so many generations. While nurturing desires to keep the old heritage, and traditions. Our goal is for Hungarian dance to be passed on to many generations and continue for it to grow.

Our goal is to bring for the children the Hungarian heritage and culture that they are unaware of. Children are already starting to get into this movement when they first start kindergarten. In elementary school we teach the baics for Hungarian dancing and also their rhythmic capabilities. They show their improvement and growth in performances, to prove that they are capable to learn fast if the child wants to learn with passion. As you know children learn fast and this is the time to inform them of these cultures.

Our goal is to teach them great rhythmic styles with different dance styles, and also improvisation and coordination skills. We of coarse try to arrange the level of the students capability according to the grade and age level they are in, in a playful and fun way for the kids to enjoy. We persuade the kids to have a great environment where they have fun and feel comfortable to be in.

We hope to pass on these cultural values on to your schools swell. We hope to inform your students about the Hungarian culture and hope to bring out the best in the kids artistically. Our main purpose is to inform children everywhere about different ethnic values and cultures.
